These windblocker trousers are built from a durable Pro-Meteo 1 Layer fabric crafted with harsh conditions in mind. A PFAS-free DWR treatment repels light rain and snow. And 40 g ultra-light Comfortemp® padding provides excellent thermal insulation in cold temps. Plus, added Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation sits against the skin for increased warmth and breathability. Conveniently store a GPS device or other small items in the open hand pockets. A pull-on-style stretch waistband creates a snug yet comfortable fit. The men’s Alpha Pants were built to deliver advanced protection during skiing or mountaineering trips.

Materials

Super-light Polyamide fabric (56 g/sqm) with double Ripstop micro-construction, natural weft-stretch with windproof performance. PFAS FREE DWR water-repellent coating offers protection from external moisture and rain: the fabric does not absorb water and dries quickly, even after numerous washes. The special water-repellent finishing ensures the absence of fluorinated compounds, harmful to the environment. ANTIUV: UPF50+.

POLARTEC® ALPHA® DIRECT (139 g/sq.m) is an evolution of the original Alpha® technology which eliminates the need to use a direct contact liner. By refining the shape and size of its bulky fibers, Alpha® Direct can be directly in contact with the skin or other layers of fabric. This new design capability increases breathability and further reduces the overall weight of the clothing.
