Fiore Mio

It has a charming and gentle title, "Fiore Mio," the first film written, directed and starring Paolo Cognetti, which will have its world premiere at the 77th Locarno Film Festival as a pre-opening event on August 6 on the Piazza Grande. Following the success of "The Eight Mountains" - based on his novel of the same name and directed by Felix Van Groeningen and Charlotte Vandermeersch, winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes 2022 - Paolo Cognetti will then arrive in cinemas on November 25, 26 and 27 with the new title, produced by Samarcanda Film, Nexo Studios, Harald House and EDI Effetti Digitali Italiani with the support of the Film Commission Vallée d'Aoste and in collaboration with Montura and Jeep, technical partner SONY, production service L'Eubage, media partner Radio DEEJAY and MYMovies. it. The protagonist of "Fiore Mio," which after the Italian release will be distributed worldwide by Nexo Studios (nexostudios.it), is the most visceral theme of Cognetti's poetics: his mountain, Monte Rosa, a geographical place but above all a place of feeling and a place of understanding of what we have around us. The soundtrack is by singer-songwriter Vasco Brondi.
