First hiking map of the Natural Park Trail
The Natural Park Trail (Cammino Naturale dei Parchi) is a 430-km-long route along the Apennine mountain chain in central Italy, leading from Rome to L'Aquila, through seven Protected Natural Areas. The trail has been fully described in the guidebook Guida al Trekking - Cammino Naturale dei Parchi and the first large-scale (1:35,000) hiking map of the third week of the trail is now available. This includes the six daily stages that lead from Corvaro to Accumoli, crossing the province of Rieti from south to north, for a total of more than 100 km of walking and altitudes that reach 1888 m on Monte Nuria, the highest point of the entire Natural Park Trail.
